Hi perrymck,

I don't know if you have Platinum 4.5.1. or Platinum8, so these are the complete instructions

The easiest way to do this in (if you have AS 18 or up) is using the Elevation Editor

- Open the Elevation Editor (located at the Power Tools).
- Select the elevation (Front, rear, etc).
- Click on the Window tool (left side of the screen). The preview bar will show you the different styles. Click the style of your choice
- Change the dimensions and properties as required
- Put the window in the desired place of the wall.
- Follow the same procedure for other windows, changing the elevation

You can change the dimensions, elevation or location if necessary.
This procedure can be used also with doors, or doors + windows

If you have an older version, without the EE, try to put the windows side by side in the same wall, change the elevation and then move them to the right position

Let us know if you need more help

Patricia I have been using pro plat v8 for about a month btw. (TV Promo DIY channel) Your post sent me to the panel used to edit the window selection in the Elevation Editor. I had not explored that area before. Thanks so much! Our houseplan is at the draftsman now and we are under a deadline for changes. We build in sept/Oct. Such an incredible program! Thanks again Perry

I am trying to stack windows three high in a modified A Frame. I can't seem to move the middle windows when they are selected. I am using Home Design Platinum 12.

Hi Larry Fitzpatrick

With Platinum 12, you can use the elevation editor Power Tool to move / edit / stack windows

Just open the EE--> choose the desired elevation--> select the window--> set the window position--> adjust the elevation / dims, etc as necessary
