Hi EZoog,

Punch doors and windows work only if you insert them in a wall (or roof for V10 skylights)

For AS 4000 V8 and V10, AS 3000 V10 and IDS, you can create your own door using the Door Designer (Power Tool)
If you have any other version, you can try this work around: resize a light door so it will look as a garage door. The V8 and V10 versions have Custom Doors so the lights will be really upper windows (see attached) and for other versions you can use the half French Door

Also, you can create your own door-object (POB) with the help of the 3D workshop. The V10 programs have Garage doors with windows in the category exterior--> doors and windows
