Hi Bob Shirley,

Try this
- Make a copy of your file just for printing purposes. Select the stairs--> copy to--> upper floor. The stairs will appear in both floors.

- Go to the CAD tab and, in the upper floor plan, trace the stairs with the help of lines and rectangles. In this way, the stairs will appear in both floorplans, but in 3D will appear just once

I'm a new user and am trying to draw my home, which has an attached garage. Do I draw the entire area on the foundation and, if so, how do I keep the garage area out of my living area calculations? Also, I want to draw an addition to my garage. I cannot figure out how to add to my first sketch which only has the living area. Help !!!
