Are there any plans to allow you to transfer the framing back to Punch?

The roofing wizard transfers back to Punch.
I don't understnad why the Framing Editor doesn't.

Hi Lawrence Arendt,

This depends on the meaning of "transfer".
If you add a column in the FE, it will not appear in liveview. However, all the modifications / additions developed in the FE will be reflected in the Estimator Power Tool

So...if you design a deck and add in posts via FE, you won't see them in your LiveView?? Then how do you put them in your LiveView to represent the actual posts?

Hi Christopher DeYoe
For the columns you can use columns developed with the 3d workshop (there are some columns ready to use in the Punch library) or you can draw the column shape and dims with the floor tool--> set the thickness and elevation--> texture as necessary
You can also draw a shape in the detail tab--> convert to--> floor--> set the thickness and elevation--> texture as necessary

Hi Pat,

Do you mean how to proceed in Punch or do you mean the structural members?
Also, can you inform your program and version?
