Hi marcelc1,

Check the right side of the Elevation Editor screen. You will find 8 icons, these icons are the different elements of the elevation. You can show / hide these elements (3D objects, roofs, etc).
The first icon controls the 3D objects, and probably in your EE it has a red X (as in the image attached) , this means "Hide the 3D objects". So, just click on the icon and you will see the 3D objects

Let us know if you need further assistance

Thank for your help but my problem is different, when a print I have a shaded or gray pale background I can get red of that when I had the Punch Platinum was pretty easy just change the interior fill color to white and thats it. Now whit the EE on AS400 there is only two options background color and elevation color. I choose a white background and black elevation plus High intensity and High Bright and I still have the pale gray and the shaded colors on the background. I really want to print only the outline of the elevation not the shaded and pale gray.
Thank u very much! see if you can help me I really need help for that

Hi marcelc1,

As for your question, did you try to print as B&W?

Hi marcelc1,

I'd suggest to export first to PSD (Photoshop) and then to pdf

Hope this helps

Still the same thing whit psd.I still can see the pale gray. Its ok for a letter sheet but I just can imagine when I print that in a 36x24 sheet. Will be too much visible. I will explain all the steps that I use. First, I export the image to a file (I tried all *.psd; *.bmp; *.pdf;print screen...). Second, I cut or copy the draw part to a pdf document. After that, I re size to find the scale. Finally, after all that. I cannot print without the pale gray on the background specially when I use gray scale or Black and White.
Regards,
Marcel

Hi Marcel,

I guess is something with your system, because, as you can see in the image attached (a screen shot of the image opened with Adobe Acrobat), I haven't this problem. I confirmed with the eyedropper tool (Photoshop), that the background is white 255,255,255

Some tips
- In the elevation Editor set the background as white 255,255,255 and the elevation color as black 0,0,0
- You can export the image to Photoshop format, then open and save it as PDF. You don't need to cut the image. PDF allows you to set the size of the paper

When I go to print a floor plan that I have designed, either level 1,2 or 3 they are all printed together one over top of the other on the same sheet. I can't get them to print separatly on different 8 1/2" x 11" paper

Hi Brian Edwards

In the left - bottom corner there is a little icon (house), showing the level you are working. Click on the icon and select the level you wish to print--> View working floor only--> File --> Print to fit page or scale.
Or Design--> Visible floors--> View working floor only--> File--> Print to fit page or scale.

Let us know if you need additional help

I am having a problem with exporting my files from the EE. The editor only exports the image that is on the screen currently. The problem is that when I decrease the zoom sufficiently to fit the whole picture on the screen and then export, the font for my dimensions are blurry to the point I cant read them. If I increase the zoom to 100% and export the numbers are legible if a little fuzzy. Then the problem becomes having the elevation in 4 different pieces rather than one image. Is there someway around this? What would be great is the ability to print and export in a specified scale. That seems impossible based on what I have seen in other posts - how about a new powertool that can be loaded into the elevation editor that does just that - sort of a "dimensions in detail" for elevations. Any takers?

The small size of the font is the primary problem, but it is also quite blurry. Based on what I have read, is it correct to say that the EE prints to fill the page on which it is printed? If that is the case then I could probably calculate what size the page would have to be to produce a 1/4-1 scale. Then I could set up a custom size paper matching those dimensions. Or maybe I could download a trial version of Acrobat and print to that with a large size paper speciifed and then scale the image later. Either of these would be better than trying to cut and paste within a Paint or Image program from 4 images down to 1. I tried that last night, and the final image still had lines where the images overlapped/met.

Hi Roger,

Did you installed the free patch for the EE?
You can download it at http://www.punchsoftware...patch_layout_manager.htm

Hope this helps

Yes, I have installed the patch. The problem is not the size of the font in the EE itself. When I export the file, the only part of the elevation that is exported is what is within the window on the screen. Therefore, in order to see the entire elevation, I have to decrease the zoom to about 60%. When the file is exported at this level of zoom, the font for the dimensions is too small to be legible. I need the entire elevation exported at a scale large enough that the font is readable. Thanks.
