Hi,

I'm designing a kitchen layout and trying to figure out how to use the Cabinet Tool (On Floor tab) - I want to have a base cabinet with all drawers. 6 drawers total, stacked 3 high (so 2 columns of drawers - 3 rows...). I also want the topmost of the drawers to not be as tall/high as the 2 drawers below...

I can't see an option for have 2 sets of "stacked" drawers... Nor can I see a way to define different drawer heights...

TIA,

Rose

You can't add these drawers' settings using the Cabinet Tool.
You can create your custom cabinets or customize any object using the 3D Workshop Power Tool.

If you are interested, I have an eBook for V19 users, with hundreds of images, tutorials,as well as an entire chapter about the 3D Workshop Power Tool.
In addition, my Punchhelpers' Collections include many cabinets that you can customize.

Hope this helps.

WOW - one can't easily add normal cabinets that have a shallower drawer at top (e.g. silverware) and deeper drawers below (e.g. plates, pans etc). I'm surprised the developers didn't think of this - guess they aren't working in the kitchen much :)

Thanks for your reply Pat!

You're welcome! ThumpUp

The cabinet tool is for standard cabinets, the 3DCW is for Custom Cabinets.

Hmmm, having a shallower top drawer is pretty standard/common/normal, no? And it's not all that unusual to have 2 columns of just drawers. Any idea if in their latest version they've thought of this?

Where can we post enhancement requests for future releases? Here somewhere, or on their direct website?
