I'm not new to Punch!, but new to needing some of the finer details correct. Mainly, I want to use the estimation part to its full potential.

As such, when I add a 10" wall in the basement to show the concrete walls, it defaults to wood studs. Can this be changed? I haven't found it.

Also, same with a concrete porch. It shows as a framed wood floor.

Hi there,

First, you need to define the framing / estructural settings.

For example => select the wall => right click => Framing Properties => define the desired material (in your case, concrete)

Regarding the floor, it depends of the type of floor, slab, etc (more info starts on page 243 of the user guide)

These options / changes will be reflected in the Estimator PT.
