Hi again Patricia. Is there any way to make the roofs thicker. (version 20) I have a roof which will be made of 2x10 & 2x12 rafters plus 2x4 strapping. But Punch roof only is 4 inches.

Hi Ralph,

Unfortunately, the roof thickness can't be changed.

You can try these two work-arounds:
1 - You can create the roof elements using the 3DCW Power Tool. Actually, in the Furnishing library => Exterior, there are several element that you can be edit.
2 - Open the Ceiling Designer Power Tool => Use the Ceiling Beam Tool => draw the beam so it will match the desired characteristics of the roof element such as width, height, elevation and pitch. Notice that these elements won't appear in Framing Mode Rendering.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Patrica I kind of thought that was the case. The trouble with making the roof element is the time it takes. It is not a big deal with it showing only 4 inches.
