I have Architectural Series V 21 -

Has the V 22 been upgraded so it can produce working drawings more professionally? I.E. take care of room name and dimension conflicts and ability to move dimensions to avoid a conflict in reading drawings?

There are lots of new settings. I'd suggest that you check the What is New section in the V22 section of the Punch website.

Particularly, I'd suggest that you review the new Sheet Layout Mode.

You can ask for a demo version => support@punchsoftware. Let me know if you experience problems.
