Hi bev,
Check if the 3D Cut-away Slider is down.
If you moved the slider up and it is cutting the wall, the windows will "float" See the image attached (the slider is outlined).

That was my first thought. The slider WAS all the way down but I pushed it up and back down again just to be sure. It seems to be working properly.
Also, it's not just the front (exerior) wall that goes "glassy". The interior walls do the same thing if they have a door thru them. So, for instance, I wind up seeing the plumbing in a bathroom that is on the far side of a bedroom at the front of the house (i.e. thru both the exterior wall and the interior wall between bedroom and bathroom).
