I found the floor cutout, but I can only view it on plan tabs other than the floor plan. This relates to another post I made a while ago. I don't know why I can not see 2D objects on the floor plan. I can not see the floor cutout, stoves, refrigerators or, any other objects. I have to move over to the HVAC, electric tabs, etc. to see the objects.

Probably you moved / changed the objects to other tab
Try this
- Start with the first level, in the first tab (Foundation) and go over the following tabs (Floor, Electrical, etc)
- Repeat the process in the second and third floors, with all the tabs , until you find the objects

Once you find the objects--> Edit--> move to plan--> floor (or other tab)

Regarding how to show / hide objects: If you are working in / printing from the floor tab (or electrical, etc), you will see a small black arrow at the right of the name. By clicking the small arrow you have the option of viewing or hiding other tabs. Just check the names of the tabs you wish to show. (see the image attached).

Hope this helps

Patricia, Thanks for the response. I am familiar with hiding other plans on the individual tabs by using the drop arrow on each. In the case of the missing cutout, I placed the cutout while on the floor plan tab. I saw it appear in live view. At this point the cutout was highlighted. As soon as it was unselected, it disappeared from the floor plan. I found the cutout on the electrical plan. But when I move it to the floor plan, it does not move. It remains on the other plan. Is this a program bug? Alan

Alan,

So, if you are familiar, you knew the answer, right?

Never saw a floor cutout fixed in a tab

zip and send me your plan, I'll check it

Just for learning purposes, I checked Alan's file.
The file is corrupted, so the objects in the floor tab aren't visible.

I recommended to copy the house to a new and empty file. Not Save As but Copy and Paste.
I did a small test and it worked

Hope this helps
