Hi Shivana,

This is a very common issue, with a very easy solution

Please, follow my tutorial
http://www.punchhelpers.com/acadtutorial.html

this should correct the problem

If after the tutorial you still experience problems, send me your file and I'll check it

I had the same problem when I tried to open autocad 2004 in Punch 4000. The page appears blank. I followed Ms Patrica Tutotrial and I was able to open the drawing. Here are some tips before you start importing. Open the autocad drawing :go to file, export to DXF and change the export settings. A dialog box opens. In precision type 6, check X in all other boxes: Rewrite embeded images, groups as blocks, unblock, expolde text. Then save as dxf file. Punch will open the dxf file . Good luck John

Hi John,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Just an additional note, Punch AS 4000 will open also DWG.
The advantage of DWG is a smaller file

Patricia

PS: I tried to e-mail you, but the e-mail returned. Thank you for your concepts!
