I have changed dimensions and colors of objects in the 3 D custom workshop without a problem, but when I go back to my floor plan the object that I selected and worked on in the workshop doesn't change--color or size. I close out the workshop and answer the dialog box about changing the design in the current plan, but nothing seems to change. The only workaround I found was to save the object to the object library and then reinsert it into the plan. Isn't there an easier way? What am I missing? Thanks. Jerry

I have created a custom fence system, namely a 7ft tall redwood fence with a 12"high lattice panel at the top. I have made 8 ft panels and posts, and multiple panel sections. What I want to do is slice the lattice panel to a certain length shorter than 8 ft, just as if cutting it with a saw. The lattice panel is a group of all the individual slats and if I try to change the size, the lattice pattern changes in proportion to the overall size. I have missed a command or function that can do this for me. Is there a method that will give me a shortened panel without building one from scratch?

I'm considering buying the Arch 4000 software, but use AutoCAD extensively. Will the Arch 4000 3D "models" export/import to AutoCAD OK?

Hi Scott Herman,

As you are in the 3-D Custom Objects section, I assume you are talking about Punch 3D workshop objects (POB). They export to DWG as wireframe

hope this helps
