Hi Laurie Churchill,
I am not sure about your program with the Topo, however, start with the concept that the topo slopes work by elevation difference. Thai means that if you have a slope with 36", you need to start explaining where the 0.00"is, or creating a building pad or creating a slope with elevation 0.00" However, if you describe your problem, we'll help you

Hello,
I wonder if anybody could help me with an advise on Topo Designer? I have previously designed a house in Punch Architectural Series 4000. I now have to show this house sitting in a sloping (about 5°) landscape. Consequently, I have to alter the foundations, showing the house sitting 2m up (at the highest point in the center) with the height of the elevation reducing towards the sides of the house. The back of the house is on the same level as the grounds.
Can you please advise on where to start? Sorry to sound so useless, but I cannot find anything that explains step by step how to use the topo designer in conjunction with an existing design. I have tried to set the landscape in Topo Designer showing the slope, then save it, then open the existing house design, then open the saved landscape in Topo Designer, and the result is that the house appears to just be hanging up in the air, no matter which angle I look at it.
Thank you and looking forward to any advise.
Ivy

Hi Ivy,
The best way is to open the Topo Designer and create a big square with elevation 0" then create a building pad (or other square) with elevation +2.00m This will make the trick

Thank you, Patricia, for your reply. I followed your suggestion above but now the house half disappears under ground. How can I get it to follow the contours of the topography? I cannot use "float above topography" command, as it does not work on the walls.
Thanks.
Ivy

Hi Ivy,
If you have different topo elements with different elevation, and your walls are resting on the different elevations.... you will need to set the walls' elevations individually
Hope this helps
