Thanks for the tips. It wasn't intuitive to me that a ceiling should be specified by adding a "floor" to single story structure. But I'm beginning to understand the Punch! 'logic' now. I'll give it a try. Michael H.

The first answer for versions V4.5.1 and up is: the ceilings are created with the floor tool and then you must set the elevation

To do this, try these options

1 - Draw the ceiling with the Floor tool
Select the ceiling / object --> Edit--> Set object elevation--> write the desired elevation

or

2 - Select the ceiling / object --> right click on the elevation slider--> write the desired elevation

or

3 - Select the ceiling / object--> right click on the piece--> Set elevation--> write the desired elevation

Don't forget that the elevation of a ceiling will be the height of the walls + the Autofloor of these walls (if you considered Autofloor). And to consider only the ceilings with different elevations, you must uncheck the autofloor of the upper level

If you have a V10 program, you can draw a set of walls--> select them--> Properties bar--> bottom of the bar--> ceiling / floor button
