Hi JoeH,
I am attaching 2 images so you can follow the explanation. I am using the door, but the procedure is the same with the windows
1 - Click on the door icon in the Floor tab--> the Door preview bar will open--> click on the door style icon (top of the preview bar, with the drawing of a door)--> the door menu will open in the preview bar--> the last icon is the Custom Door icon (see the name in Status bar at the end of the screen)
2 - After you click the icon--> the Custom Door Preview bar will appear--> click on the word doors--> the Custom Door menu will appear

Thanks Patricia,
I have already been doing as you describe, but the word 'doors' does not appear at the top of the list. It does appear in the door designer toolbar list but no on the main screen of AS4000. If you would be kind enough to explain how I can attach my screen grab to a message I will do so, so that you can see what I mean. I have today tried to uninstall the software and then reinstall but this has made no difference.

You can't attach images to your messages at this Forum. This feature is available just for few old Punchers...:-D
You can e-mail me your screen shot, if you wish
I guess you are using the Door designer Power Tool, instead of the Door menu and preview bar. Forget the Power Tools by now
Follow this sequence--> (see image Custom doors 1.JPG, attached)--> Open a new file in Punch--> Go to the Floor tab--> Click on the door icon--> the Door preview bar will open--> click on the Door style button--> the door style menu will drop (see image Custom doors 2.JPG, attached)--> click the last icon (called Custom doors)--> the Custom Doors Preview bar will open--> In the Custom door preview bar click on the word Doors (see image Custom doors 3.JPG attached)--> the Custom Door menu will drop
Notice that the word Doors in the Custom Doors preview Bar and there are not Power Tools involved here
If your Punch program shows different screens, feel free to send me the screen shots

Just for learning purposes
JoeH sent me the screenshot. The reason why the word "Doors" didn't appear in the preview bar, was the font size in the display settings
A reminder of the right setting
- Close your programs. Go to your desktop.
- Right click --> Properties --> Settings --> Advanced
- Search the configuration for the Display (The tab is different in different Windows / Video card configurations).
- Set the DPI settings in Normal Size (96 DPI)
