Hi Wayne,
IMO they are not bugs, they are Punch's characteristics
1 - I set a freehand roof with a 24" spacing and with 16" and both are working, and maintain the spacing both in 2D and 3D, as you can see in the images attached. So, in order to help you we'd need more info about your problem
2 - Information in the Framing Editor is not translated to the main program. Therefore, FE elements (like rafters' dimensions, columns etc) will not appear in liveview, or in the main plan
3 - Perhaps not exactly, but with some patience you can build a wall using the wall shapes (main program--> Floor Tool--> wall tool--> Properties bar)
Hope this helps

OK, the first image shows a space of 16", however, as I showed in my image above, it can be easily change to 24"
The second image--> when you wish to insert a dormer touch on one of the sides of the roof, you should use add points to the roof side in order to contour the dormer. Otherwise, the roof cutout tool will show always a border
3rd image--> you need to set the wall elevation and pitch
Hope this helps

OK... I give up.
How do you add attachments/pictures to a post?
I thought I did that on the last post and I was wrong.
Regards,
Wayne

Hi Wayne
You can't attach images to your messages at this Forum. This feature is available just for few old Punchers... :-D

I believe what Wayne is trying to show is in the following image, both the wall and rafter spacing is set to 16 inches and in the live view window, it is clear that the spacing is different, so one of them is not correct.
<br><br>Not sure if this will work, but I'll try to attach an image for you. <br><br><p>

</p>
Hope the image comes through....

Patricia,
What happened to the response I sent to your comments about the pictures? Something didn't get posted. I spent a lot of time constructing that message and I did get an acknowledgment from the system that it would be posted.
Do you (or whoever is moderator) have access to the incoming message queue to check to see if it is there? I will do it over if I have to, but believe me this whole exercise is very frustrating.
There is plenty of forum software out there that does not result in two days delay while the moderator decides whether to allow posting or attachments.
Regards,
Wayne

Wayne,
I am not a Punch employee. We (people answering questions at the Forum) are just a volunteers, so I can't tell you what happened with your message At the bottom, you will find a button to "E-mail de sysop", perhaps they can inform you about this

Yes, Karl, that is exactly my problem (well, one of them anyway...). It seems to happen with the freehand roofs and not the book roofs. Something is amiss there. I wonder if anyone has seen a cure for it or whether we can get Punch to fix it?
How did you get the picture in there? Did you use an HTML IMG tag?
Wayne
