Hi handcrafted,

The differences are in the number of Power Tools, but over all, it depends of the Version #--> Do you have AS 3000V7, V10, V12?

I am not sure about your comments regarding the email attachments--> I am attaching the files to emails for my Customers since Version 3, and it was never a problem

Can not place Materials or Colors
Ever time I try to put Materials or Colors on walls or anything they go right on the sky.
Is there a setting I can change to make them go to what I want them to go to ins of the sky all the time.
Thank You

Hi George Davidson

I received your files

The texture going to the sky or the grass is a symptom of a videocard problem. Try these steps

1 - Check the website of your video card manufacturer and update the drivers
2 - Go to the video setup on your PC (may be different for different versions of Windows and video card); for most, click on an empty part of the windows Desktop, click on Settings->Advanced->Troubleshoot). Back the accelerations slider to the left, one level each time and see if the problem dissapears

3 - Right click on the wallpaper (look for a place without icons)--> Properties--> Settings--> Advanced--> Open GL--> Compatibility Settings--> Force 16 bits--> Apply--> OK

4 - Set your video color depth at 24 or 32 bits ("true color")

5 - Go to www.microsoft.com/directx, and see what version is current and check if you have this version installed in your computer

6 - Some NVidia card users reported additional problems--> in this case change the color settings from 32 bit to 16 bit

You will find several discussions about this issue in this forum--> perform a search with the words "sky + texture"

Hi Joshua

The V12 versions were discontinued, however, you will find them (probably) in Amazon.com, for example
The current version in the market is V15

From the technical point of view, all the Punch versions work separatelly, so the upgrades are not installed over the old versions
For example, in my XP computer, I have installed 12 different Punch versions, starting with a (very) old release of Punch Super, version 3, Professional and Professional Plat V4, AS 18 V6, etc, all the way up to the latest versions
So, in other words, if you buy a new program, you can choose keep Punch version 7. or delete it. All your Punch version 7 files will open in the new programs, but notice that, if you save you file in the new program (say a V15 program) the v15 file will not open in the Punch V7 files

Now, if your question is from the commercial point of view (upgrade price for a new program), I'd suggest that you check this directly with Punch
