- Do you use Platinum 4.5.1. or Platinum8
- Your question "I have read in the book that there is a download to solve this problem but I have yet to find it on line", do you mean the Punch manual? Can you specify book, page or the exact sentence?
- Your question "In addition I would like to create a detailed blueprint with site location, elevation, and structural details. Can PRO PLATINUM perform this and or is there an upgrade that can? You can draw some elements with the CAD tools, however they are very basic in Platinum. Punch AS 4000 has a Section Detailer, however note that Punch (as well as any other software in the market) may have the graphic tools to draw the details but they will not describe / design / calculate the span, columns, loading walls, wood section, insulation, etc
- Your question "I have read your section on whether or not to hire a professional and prefer to do this myself and save some cash as this was the motive behind getting this program to start with. With that said, where can I find assistance with this and or a program that can?" Can you elaborate? Assistance with what? With Punch?
