Hi Dave Rennie,

Sure. In Punch, you can design / draw in any order. You can start with the roofs, if you wish

If you are using Platinum8, check the templates for rooms and decks (Properties bar--> templates)

Thanks, Patricia. Another question...after designing the rooms, would I then select the perimiter walls and select "Convert to outside walls" or would I just draw outside walls around the perimiter of the rooms?

after having lots of trouble designing a house i have been using the room templates and just putting them together. it's the only way i have been able to get cabinets to come out right. but why are there no living room templates. that doesn't make sense.

You are right, there are not living room templates...I don't know the reason. But, use the living room to play with your creativity!
