Hi Michael M. Kadrie,

Unfortunately, none of the current Punch products export the models to 3D DXF or DWG. However, the Punch objects creted with the 3D workshop can be exported to 3D DXF

Hope this helps

I'm considering purchasing Pro Platinum, but I'm wondering if I can use it to export to 2D DXF or DWG. From the product comparison chart it appears that only 3000 or 4000 can do it. Thanks.

Hi jeremy vogt,

These are the programs (from Professional to AS 4000) and their import / export features

--> Professional V4.5.1.: imports BMP as trace. Exports DXF (without dimensions and with a difference of 20% in the scale)
--> Platinum4.5.1.: imports BMP as trace. Exports DXF (without dimensions and with a difference of 20% in the scale)
--> AS 18 V6: imports and exports DXF. Also imports BMP as trace (scale and dimensions OK)
--> AS 3000 V7 and V10, AS 18 V8, MLP, AS 4000 V8 and V10, IDS and Platinum V8: they import and export DXF and DWG. Also, they import BMP as trace. (scale and dimensions OK)

let us know if you need additional help

I am using Punch! Home Design - AS 4000, when I export my plan to DWG - 2D version 2000, I can open it by AutoCAD 2000 easily and it shows up good, but all doors and windows are covered by the continuation of the walls, so how to solve this problem please? Sincerely yours, Architect./Planner: Saeed Alawy

Edit the lines in CAD and add the windows and doors
