Thanks for the response. I don't believe it has anything to do with View/Zoom. Let me clarify - I prepared a 1/4-scale plan that had text with 10-point font, which measures about 1/8-inch by viewing the grids. I then copied this file and then changed the scale using Design/Plan Scale to 1/8-scale. Now, all of the 10-point fonts appear much smaller - everything was reduced in scale including the fonts. When trying to add addtional text, to get the font to appear to be about 1/8-inch in actual height, it requires a font size of maybe 20-points.
It appears that changing Design/Plan Scale, also scales the text font regardless of the size set. And any additional text added from a plan that was reduced in scale, also is reduced in size irregardless of what text font is set.
Does anyone have a solution for this? I'd like to keep the actual font size regardless of what scale is set or changed.

Hi Kaorisdad, You are correct, the font size in Punch is not related with the scale. There are three parameters that you can adjust, in order to optimize you printed plan 1 - The plan scale, as discussed 2 - The font size--> if you wrote a text--> select it--> properties bar--> Edit (or double click on it)--> Font--> redefine the font size / type, etc. If you are going to write texts, you can set the font--> Main menu--> Options--> Text Font 3 - The dimensions' settings--> you can adjust the type or arrows, fonts etc--> Options--> Dimensions properties These parameters work separately and they are not adjusted automatically when you change one of them Hope this helps Patricia |
