In this case I am just adding a wall at right angles starting at the end of the 1st wall. The other end of the wall I am adding doesn't join up with nor try to join up with any other wall. They are OK in how they look. It is just that they change size as mentioned, and resizing doesn't work.

Hi Sue,

Some options
- Develop the walls with the "Wall #" tools--> you will be asked to input the length of the wall you are going to draw
- After the walls are fused--> select the wall with the "Arrow #" tool--> you will be able to resize the walls--> choose the starting point (center, left, etc)

I did select the wall with the arrow # tool, but when I put in 3'0", it reverted to 2"10" and same with the 8'7" reverting to the 8'5" I finally solved the problem by moving the vertical 3 foot (actually 2'10") wall to the left. This shorted the horizontal 8'7" wall to 8'5" and I was then able to resize the 2'10" one to 3'0". But why did this happen?

Hi Sue,

This is how I see the problem: when you have 2 walls, you have two separate entities, each wall has a different length, and the dimensions' reference (center or surface) is about each wall separately
But when you join two walls using the mouse, you don't have 2 walls but a wallset and the references are interconnected, including the length
