Hi webcrafty, If you have another topo file ready, there is an easy solution
Say these are your files--> "myhouse.PRO" (the Punch file for the house), created with "myfirsttopo.PTO" (the first topo file you created).
Say you wish to replace the topo file with "mysecondtopo.PTO" (the second topo file you created).
Close you Punch program--> Go to the Windows Explorer--> Go to the folder where your PRO and PTO files are--> select "myfirsttopo.PTO"--> move it to other location (any other location is OK)--> close the Windows Explorer--> Open your Punch program--> File--> Open--> "myhouse.PRO"--> OK--> Power Tools--> Topo Designer--> You will receive a message stating that the PTO file ("myfirsttopo.PTO) associated with the PRO file ("myhouse.PRO") is missing--> (this is correct because you changed the location)--> You will be asked if you wish to replace the "myfirsttopo.PTO file with other file--> Accept the option--> A file browser will open--> choose "mysecondtopo.PTO" --> close the Topo designer PT--> save changes
In this way, you will replace the topo file Patricia |

Hi Patricia,
Just a quick unrelated question, Maybe you could help.
I have 2 dormer windows in fornt of my house and the front wall of the dormer is flush with the wall below. The window will span both levels, e.g lower half of window in 1st floor and upper part in 2nd floor which is the gable. I have build the gable and partn of the wall on the 2nd floor. Is there a way to span the 2 floors with the window without putting a wall break on the 1st floor and extending it as a gable ? also have a high narrow window that spans 2 floors in the stair well for light, Same problem.

Hi webcrafty, In order to design a wall running from the 1st floor to the second floor, you must create a wall break and insert the wall with double level. Depending of your project and necessities, you can try to add a 3D workshop wall-object or a second wall piece, just to cover the two levels segment Patricia |
