Hi,
Unfortunately, Punch doesn't have these scales.
Punch scales and equivalences:
1/8"=1'-0"-------> 1:96 -------> 1:(12/0,125)
1/4"=1'-0"-------> 1:48 -------> 1:(12/0,250)
1/2"=1'-0"-------> 1:24 -------> 1:(12/0,500)
1 " =1'-0"-------> 1:12 -------> 1:(12/1,000)
Hope this helps

Hi,
It depends, and it is hard to talk about the legal requirements in Australia, but it seems to me that for a printed plan (for permits' use) it doesn't make a great difference if you use the 1:96 scale and you say that it is 1:100. Actually, I saw bigger differences in the old times, when we drew the plans with pens.
Perhaps the problem is not with the "real ruler" but the "electronic ruler" if you need to export the plan to a DXF format, because in a CAD software the difference will appear, but then, you can use the Scale function included in the CAD packages.
Also, if you have you plan as *.BMP, you can scale the drawing.
Regards,

Yes I agree with anybody actually using a manual scale to measure where dimensions are more important ... but for a designer it is important to have plans printed to scale as we use a pencil to design on a plan then use the software ... and my brain works perfectly on a 1:100 and 1:50 scales and I can't adjust to 1:96 or even closer
Punch please come up with a more user friendly fix
