I'll try what you suggested. I broke my PC installing some 'aftermarket' software and just got it to a point where e-mail works again! I'll drop a version of the file on an e-mail for you when I get a chance (hopfully in the next day or 2). I'll look for the shutters then too. Thanks, for the suggestion on using the binoculars. I'll try that too. Jim

Did you get the file I sent with the helo-crosshairs problem? (I forgot to zip it)? If not, I'll send it again, zipped. Jim

The same thing happened to me. I often use Snag-It to capture a graphic in the LiveView mode, but the pesky little cross-hair shows up in the pic. So, I moved the cross-hair off of the plan...well it becomes lost in "outer space”...you can't see it. To find it, I changed the lot size to the maximum of 500 X 500, then I moved the cross-hair back to the center of the plan and then resized my plan to my original size. Presto!

Hi,
I received several questions about this subject and here is a tip that helped some users to "find again" the cross hair: the cross hair icon just appears when the Fly Around mode is selected. So, if the last live view executed was a Walk-Through, the cross hair will not appear in the 2D plan. In this case, the only icon appearing will be the Walk-Through icon (black triangle + circle)
Hope this helps!
