Hi:

I'm a new user, and I like the estimator... but darn if I can't find any calculation or checkbox to get my estimator to show the quantity and length of various studs required. It shows sq. ft. of drywall, for example, but I don't see how to get it to show studs.

Anyone?

Hi Ed,

You didn't tell us what Punch version you are using.
In the old versions, like Punch Platinum or Pro V4.5.1. there is only one option (2x4 studs with l= 96")

However, in more recent versions (V7 and up) --> go to the framing editor--> select the wall--> wall properties. In addition use--> Options--> Estimation options--> to set the length of the pieces
