Hi there,

I do not succeed to make a Wall Trace Deck.

Result

I guess it doesn't work because the other part of the wall is not selected (see pix #1). How do I do that, please?

Hi there,

the tool follows the contour of exterior walls only, so, if in a project there is a conflict between exterior / interior walls, the shape won't be accurate.

To check how the tool works, use it after drawing exterior walls using different shapes => you will see that the decks follow the shapes, as shown in the image attached (blue and green patterns).

Works perfectly.

I just deleted the inside wall after having placed a breakpoint.
