Indeed, using Punch Software you can develop buildings looking as the 2 images that you uploaded. However, the description of all the steps will take more than the ~32000 characters allowed for each post!

Punch, as any program, has a learning curve. The best way to learn the program, IMO, is practice + practice + practice => Read and follow the manual (this is important), see the videos => try to create elements not related with your project, so you will become familiar with the commands and how to develop the different components.

You can create this column using the 3D Custom Workshop Power Tool. Follow these steps:

1 - Open the Power Tool (Design => Launch Power Tool => 3D Custom Workshop).
2 - Select 2D Front View => draw the shape (exactly as you did in your post).
3 - Go to 3D => use the Extrude Tool => Select => set the desired thickness.
4 - Texture and save to your library. Your column is ready!
