I am using HDS Complete 20 on a Mac with OS Big Sur , Version 11.1. The hand tool used to move objects has disappeared from the Editing Tools. Is this part of an update? Is there a replacement method to move objects? Thanks TN Noah

Hi there,
Several issues appeared after V20 users upgraded their Macs to Big Sur. So far, Punch solved these problems.
In order to check your issue with my contacts in Punch, can you share a screenshot showing the problem? Also, do you mean in 2D or 3D? Note that the hand is a tool intended to Pan, not to Select. |

The pan (hand) tool is missing from the editing tools in the left tab. Screen shot is attached. Hand Tool is Missing.jpg (48kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

Hi there, I sent an email to my contact. I will let you know if I receive an answer. Regarding your question: Originally Posted by: TNoah Is there a replacement method to move objects? You can use also the Up/Down and Left/Right sliders. Hope this helps. |

Hello,
I received the following answer from Punch:
Go to Preferences | Tools and select Editing Tools group. Ensure that "Pan" is checked. If it is, uncheck it and click save. Go back into Preferences | Tools, re-enable it, and click save. If neither work, go to Preferences | Tools and select "Table" under the "Display tools in a:" dropdown.
Hope this helps. |
