Hey Guys, I have been using Home Design Studio Complete for many years now, but I recently updated the software to the latest version after
getting a 2020 Mac Mini with a 4K monitor, before I was running V17 version on a 2008 I-mac,

The new Mac Mini is much faster and the 4K monitor is simply awesome.

Basically I live in a bungalow, on the basement there are 3 post that support the Hemlock beam which support the load bearing wall on the first floor,
I need to place the 3 post to an exact location, like one at 98" from the foundation wall, so my question is how do I set the post at an exact distance ?

The interface is much different that the older version but I manage to find pretty much everything beside that, can any one point me in the right direction.

I need to finish the plan asap so I can submit for the city permit for my house renovation.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards

AA

Hi there,

Try this:

Place one of the columns => select the column => Edit => Mirror => Vertical => the column will be copied in place => Edit => Move => write the desired distances (X and / or Y)=> repeat the process with the next column.

Hope this helps.
