Patricia...
I don't see any capability for the Stair tool to create a stairway that doesn't have parallel sides (such as a curved stairway that is wider at the bottom than the top) so I assume I'd have to create this in CWP... any tip on how to approach that?

Hi Russell,

There are several options

1 - Go to Furnishing => Building Elements => Stairs => there are several stairs => you can edit and reshape the stairs with the 3DCWP.
2 - You can import a staircase (Sketchup, 3DS, etc)
3 - You can create a staircase from scratch => a tip => create a step in 2D => Extrude => set the position of each step => set the elevation.

Hope this helps.
