Is there a way to zoom in close to a object for accuracy, and snap on it, then zoom out "as" I draw a new object? Thanks Ralph

Hi there,
Yes, there are several options.
1 - You can use the Zoom tool (on the top left corner). 2 - You can scroll the mouse wheel while you are drawing. 3 - You can use 2D => Set Zoom.
Hope this helps. |

Thanks Patricia, But none of those work while drawing a free hand roof outline.

Hi there,
I thought that you wanted to zoom the plan after drawing the pieces of a freehand roof. Otherwise, note that the freehand roof tool is a component drawing tool and the zoom is part of the 2D visualization / edition tools, so you can't create components and change the 2D visualization of your drawing at the same time.
Hope this helps. |

I was hoping I could because I am old and need to zoom in for accuracy, but then when I start to draw while zoomed in I sometimes get lost in the drawing! thanks again for your help.
