Is there anyway to cut/paste, export/import, or some means of copying parts of a design from one design into another design file?
IE. Say I have a shed or some fill area(s) that I want to replicate exactly again into another different design file.
Or is one forced to recreate every desired elements all over again? (If so, what a major pain and application feature flaw!!!)

Indeed. These topics are explained much better in the User's Guide, so it is kind of pointless to retype all here.
So, please, check the User Guide - Page 459.
