Version 21
I have a house with a 30" high crawl space under the whole house, except for the garage. There are steps up from the garage to the house. Is it best to draw the crawl space as a basement, and then add a seperate floor area for the garage? When I draw the first floor walls, can a wall extend into the garage area, where the garage floor is lower than the crawl space?
Also, part of the first floor extends about two feet beyond the crawl space on one section of a wall. Is that going to be an issue? Having a wall floating above the ground.

I'd suggest to create two walls and stack them. Originally Posted by: fabnavigator Also, part of the first floor extends about two feet beyond the crawl space on one section of a wall. If you are interested, my eBook for Punch V21 (Windows Version) includes tutorials about how to set a house with different levels, how to create a crawl space, etc. Hope this helps. |

Thank you. I've been reading your book. There is a lot to read.
I think I got this part setup correctly. It looks right now. I didn't stack the walls, but set the elevation and made the three walls taller. For the cantelevered part of the house, I made the first floor walls w/o a floor, and added the floor after.
