Home Essentials 20.0
I removed a bed from the 2D drawing but it's still showing in the 3D view. I've tried rebooting the machine. Didn't work. Is there a way to correct this? Thanks, John

Hi there,
Finding objects in 2D Start with the first level, in the first tab (Foundation) and go over the following tabs (Floor, Electrical, etc). Repeat the process for all the floors, with all the tabs , until you find the object.
Finding objects in 3D If you wish to select the object in liveview, you can use the 3D selection tool (arrow icon => Live view screen). Confirm that all the tabs are visible. You can select items just on the active floor / tab. So, if you click on the object in live view and it doesn't become active in the plan, try with other level /tab (try all the levels independently of the level where the object seems to be). I suggest to work with liveview / half view so you can control the plan and the live view at the same time.
Hope this helps. |

Hi Patricia, Thanks for responding. I only have 1 floor in this file. I'm working on an attic remodel. The bed is not showing up anywhere in the 2D drawing space. When I click on the bed using "Select objects in 3D" the info panel goes blank. When I click on any other element or even the floor there is info displayed in the info panel. I tried pacing another of the same bed in hopes it would allow me to select either of them but that didn't work.

I do have other elements added to the drawing and all of those are working as intended.

Hi there,
You drew one floor, but, it can be in a different floor in the file (perhaps you moved it by mistake). Check all the available floors in the file and in all the tabs (Foundation, Floor, etc): you will find it. |

You were right. It was in the roof tab. Learned something new today. Thanks a bunch!
