Hi again v20
I am having good success importing materials to my library, however whenever I try to import a 3ds file, I select the file to import and nothing happens.
It is definitely *.3ds, I can open it aok in Photoshop 3D, not sure what I am missing?
There is nothing similar I want in the existing library and its too complex for me to create from scratch in the 3DCW

My webpage includes several free tutorials and resources such as a tutorial about importing 3Ds files.

Use the tutorial and see if it solves the problem.

Thanks Pat, I had and revisited several of the videos, read the manual and searched forum threads, unless I missed something else (your link didn't work so if you could repaste it please). I couldn't seem to see why nothing happens when I select a 3ds file.
