Is there a way to add a basement after the first floor was done? Thought I set it up properly at the start but must not have. Got most everything done on the ranch plan, inc landscape before I realized my mistake. The system wouldn't allow me to add a floor then use a negative elevation. Any suggestions?.....V21 Arch series....thanks in advance

Hi there, Originally Posted by: Landscape MD Is there a way to add a basement after the first floor was done? Yes, you can add a basement to your project. Use the Working Floor button => open the drop-down menu => Add / Insert Floor => define the settings of the new floor position (particularly the elevations, positive or negative). You will find more information about this concept in the section called "Working with Floors" (User Guide - Page 52). If you set the new floor with a negative elevation, the elements will have a negative elevation. Hope this helps. |
