Render photo realistic rendering issues
I am trying to render small images 1220x662 in Photo realistic images but it will not allow me to do it? it just hangs and I have to reboot. I have tried everything from the User guide and some.
My System setup is as follows:
Nividia GTX Geforce 1050 TI 8mb
X299 Asus motherboard
64gb RAM
Intel i9 7980X CPU
All temps are perfect.
Win 10 enterprise Edition
All drivers are upto date.
Can somebody please advise if this is a issue with the program/my setup? or does anybody know a fix please. I never had this problem before I upgraded to 2022 version.
Kind regards
Cistec

Hi there,
Just a confirmation: as you mention V2022, can you confirm if you are using a Punch program?
What rendering mode are you using? |

Hi Patricia
I am using Punch V22 but I think I have it working now updated drivers and went step by step in manual and this time it worked.
Only problem is it does not ask what file format to render at or where to save it as the other lower rendering options do? Can you offer any idea what I have to do before Photorealistic rendering.
Thank you so much for getting back to me so quick, its refreshing to see tech support so efficient.
Kind regards
Cistec

Hi there, You're welcome! Glad to know that the problem is solved. Originally Posted by: Cistec Thank you so much for getting back to me so quick, its refreshing to see tech support so efficient. FYI: I am not Punch tech support. I am just in independent professional and a volunteer in the Forum. More about me Punch, as any program, has a learning curve. The best way to learn the program, IMO, is practice + practice + practice => Read, search and follow the User Guide (this is important) => try to create elements not related with your project, so you will become familiar with the commands and how to manage the different components. If you are interested, my eBook for Punch V22 for Windows includes lots of tutorials and a full chapter about Rendering. In addition, you will receive an interactive tutorial that outlines how to get started on your project. Hope this helps. |
