Hi, not sure what I'm doing wrong, some of my furniture is showing in 3D view but not in the 2D view as per attached image. I'm trying to delete/move the furniture & even selecting it with the 3D selecting tool & pressing delete does not work. TIA Capture.PNG (139kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

Hello,
When you post questions at the Forum, please inform the exact name (Architectural Series or Essentials, etc) and version number of your program (V15 or V18 or V21, etc). On the PC you will find this information in the main menu => Help => About… On the Mac this info is on the title menu => About…
Different programs and versions include different features, so we need the information in order to provide the correct solutions. |

Just a note answering your question "why do I need to add the program name if it is included in the title" You will be surprised about the times we find issues with the program names (names from other versions or Mac or other manufacturers) and version numbers (wrong or duplicated versions) Below the program names, we ask users to inform the version numbers but ... . If we have all the information, we can provide better answers. Also please, check this page |

Hi there, Originally Posted by: Stellajo not sure what I'm doing wrong, some of my furniture is showing in 3D view but not in the 2D view. Finding objects in 2D Start with the first level, in the first tab (Foundation) and go over the following tabs (Floor, Electrical, etc). Repeat the process for all the floors, with all the tabs , until you find the object. Finding objects in 3D If you wish to select the object in liveview, you can use the 3D selection tool (arrow icon => Live view screen) You can select items just on the active floor / tab. So, if you click on the object in live view and it doesn't become active in the plan, try with other level /tab (try all the levels independently of the level where the object seems to be). I'd suggest to work with liveview / half view so you can control the plan and the live view at the same time. Hope this helps. |
