How do I add a stone wainscot to an exterior wall with metal siding above? Do I need to draw 2 walls on top of each other in appropriate heights? Or can I mark a line on the exterior elevation and separate different materials? Thank you!

Hi there,

There are several methods to show different materials on a wall. You can apply them depending of the situations, necessities, etc.

The 2 more common methods are:

1 - You can stack two or more walls.
2 - You can use wainscot / moldings to create the areas.

I used both methods in this image
