Working with roofs can be challenging...at least it is for me. Something that makes it more so is the tiny, default size of the elevation call outs, which doesn't change when zooming in. Is there a configuration setting I can change to make them larger?

Hi there, Originally Posted by: GrumpyOlMan Is there a configuration setting I can change to make them larger? There are several ways to change these settings (depending of the situation): - Design => Options => Dimensions and Fonts. - Select any element => Properties bar => Dimensions and Fonts. - Select the callout => Properties bar => Fonts. - Select any element => Draw Styles => Change colors, fonts, lines, etc. Hope this helps. |

Callout Size 1.PNG (75kb) downloaded 1 time(s).Hello Pat, So... There are four "fonts" that can be modified in the "Dimensions and Fonts" window, however I access it. None of them affects the size of the elevation callout, as shown within the red circle. That's the one I very much want to make larger. It's always the same size. I can zoom in to full magnification and it doesn't change in the least.

This is on screen information, therefore, you can control the visualization using your mouse wheel or using the Zoom Tool or adjusting the zoom percentage (2D => Set Zoom).
Hope this helps.

Callout Size 4.PNG (29kb) downloaded 0 time(s).Sorry. It's not working. Compare the previous uploaded pic to this one. This pic shows one corner of the same bay window's roof as in the other. I have 2D zoom set to 400% and my mouse wheel is scrolled as far as it will let me go. You can see that the elevation callout has not changed size. I think it says Elev 8'-10". Which can't be right. That's a ground floor window, wall height is 10'.
