Hi there, Originally Posted by: Ticker Our architect can save the digital prints in 3 file types: .rvt (Revit); .dwg (AutoCAD); pdf. - rvt (Revit) is a proprietary format of the Revit program, therefore the rvt files can't be opened / imported using Punch. - .dwg (AutoCAD) and pdf => you can import these 2 types of files. Once you import the 2D files (File => Import) you can use them to generate the model. Originally Posted by: Ticker We hope to see floor plans, elevations, 3D images. Note that, in order to visualize floor plans, elevations, 3D images, etc, you need to create your Punch 3D model (PRO file). Punch, as any program, has a learning curve. The best way to learn the program, IMO, is practice + practice + practice => Read and follow the manual (this is important), see the videos => In order to get started, try to create elements or a simple plan not related with your project, so you will become familiar with the commands and how to manage the different components and solutions. If you are interested, my eBook for Punch V25 includes all the features, lots of tutorials, screen guides, examples, how-tos as well as images for each setting. Hope this helps. |
