Hello People!
I am hoping you can help me out. Yesterday I had my macbook air connected to an external monitor, and my file kept on crashing as I was putting in all the callouts in landscape mode.
Now it and several other files refuse to open. Some files will still open. This is not the first time I've had issues with crashes with this software.
Support has yet to get back to me. Did a clean install and still had the same problem. Tried to change the screen resolution on my MacBook Air, and unplugged it from the external monitor. No Luck.
Let me know if you have any suggestions!
I can't really afford to have this happen, as now I have to make the whole design again from scratch.
I would love other recommendations for other software solutions in case this doesn't work. I am a garden designer, and I need one with a really good plant library, and it would be nice to have the rendering functions that Punch has.
Would love to stay with Punch if I can. Thanks all!

Hello,
When you post questions at the Forum, please inform the version number of your program (V15 or V18 or V21, etc). On the Mac this info is on the title menu => About…
Different programs and versions include different features, so we need the information in order to provide the correct solutions.
Thank you for your understanding. |

Mac OS Tahoe 26.5 Macbook Air using Professional v. 22.
Now it and several other files refuse to open. Several hours later I cannot open any files at all!!!! Tried to change the screen resolution on my MacBook Air, and unplugged it from the external monitor. No Luck.

I tried running various commands in terminal. Moving the files to the desktop and opening them there. It's a real hot mess as you would expect.

Would love to stay with Punch if I can but this is looking pretty dire. Thanks all!

I was not able to reproduce this issue, so I think that probably it is a hardware issue. I'd suggest that you contact tech support so they can check your hardware, OS settings, etc. and reproduce the situation. Hope this helps. |
