Sky-grass problem.png (242kb) downloaded 3 time(s).As you can (I hope) see by the attachment, some of the sky/background options are not filling correctly. Instead, they fill the grass, even though I am right at the sky. I've noticed this is also happening with some other materials. It seems random. I try to color the wall, the door, or the flooring, and I end up coloring the grass instead, no matter how close I zoom in on it. Hardware acceleration is enabled and set to full. Should this change? Thank you.

This is a hardware issue. 1 - Go to => Edit => Preferences => System => 3D Graphics => Hardware Acceleration. By default, the level of the accelerations is "Full" => Move the control to the center and see if your issue is solved. If not, move the control to the left (None) => check if your issue is solved. 2 - Always important => update the drivers of your video card. Hope this helps. |

If I turn Hardware Acceleration off or have it all the way to the left, then the image only fills one quarter of my screen when I log in. Now as it is, enabled and set at halfway, I'm coloring what I intend to color, but the eye dropper color picker isn't working. I click on it and choose the stucco or the flooring, only the sky will appear in the sidebar on the right. It does seem to work if I select the grass, but the other materials I can't choose via the eye dropper color picker. I suppose I can live with that.

Sliding the Hardware Acceleration all the way to the left does seem to fix the color picker issue, but turning it off altogether means the grid won't fill my screen when I start the software.

Hi there,
Try this: first update your computer (Windows, drivers, etc) and then, update your video card drivers.
Let us know what happened with your Punch program after you restart your computer.
Hope this helps. |
