Hi Joey,
I answered your e-mail with some tips.
Yes, CAD is not the same that Punch. Punch is a home design program, and if you draw a wall, Punch will know that it is a wall. With a Cad program a rectangle is a wall or a engine or a piece of paper.
Pre drawn CAD blocks are OK for windows, doors, furniture, etc but IMO, they are dangerous for wall details, once users can assume building characteristics. In some counties (I guess most of them) blocks are not allowed, you must include a detail with the right materials / scale / for the exact wall / roof.
Let us know if you have further questions

Yes, scale is very important, I think you misunderstand what I meant. AS3000 has the capibility of doing wall sections, TO SCALE!. You need drafting skills, but it is possible.
I have included a floor plan, and wall section, from a project I am currently working on.

Hi Joey,
I know about the AS3000 capabilities, I was just pointing the content, not the scale.
Good luck,
