Hi carpenter101,
You can easily create "Templates" with Punch AS 3000 and up.
Just draw a Punch plan (a full plan or a kitchen or a bathroom, or....) and then go to the Templates tab-->Click in the black arrow close to the name "Templates"--> Select "Create Template" in the drop menu--> Choose a Category and a name. See the image attached
Hope this helps,

Hi Monika,
I guess you are trying to import your scanned plan using the "Photoview" feature, right?. This is why is appearing a line in the floorplan
1 - Tracing a floorplan: use Design--> Load Floorplan trace image--> open the scanned plan--> OK--> Trace walls, floors, etc
2 - Photoview: use this feature--> Power tools--> Photoview--> File name --> open. You can import pictures to be used in liveview. So in the plan you will see a line (the "board" where the picture is) and in live view you will see a background, house, etc
Let us know if you need additional help
