Hi Bill, I am an Architect and designer (AIA - American Institute of Architects - International Associate), you can check my work and galleries at http://www.punchhelpers.com/IMO the new AS 3000 V10 is a very good sw, but if you wife's focus is Interior designer, perhaps she will get a better deal with Punch interiors, because it is specifically developed for interior design, and yes, it works with fractions. You can check other features at this page http://www.punchsoftware.comHope this helps Patricia |

However, once Bill's wife doesn't own the sw, Punch Interiors will cost less and she will be able to import textures, use the snap bar as well as lots of additional objects.
Hope this helps

While this works, it is very cumbersome to have to move back and forth between Punch and the PowerTools.
These features should be purchased by punch and included in future releases. Everything in Pucnh is great except the fraction use and display and dimensioning....
Until then, we've moved to another software package which has less features, but does in fact do basics such as these well.
Regards
