Hi Barry Bateman,
With AS 4000 you have a limit of 1000' x 1000'
Go to Power Tools--> Topo Designer--> Lot Properties--> Type the lot size in the text boxes
Let us know if you have further questions

I could not set it that way and draw anything. When
I tricked it with metric I could draw but not re-load.
Currently I have a partial (back section of lot) but it is still to large to fit on the 500 limit.
how do I set that in the standard tool or import
my current (and overflowing) drawing doc into the power tool and export it for the main tool to load.
I think the users have to grow with the software, as
startig from scratch is far to complex.
Doing a design in one of my various CAD packages
that don't know boundry (I have an E size printer to boot) it seems easy. It even has trees.
I bought two of your packages back to back and have yet to get what I was led to be a lot size
that is useful. How do I set 300 x 1500 ? or 300 x 1000 for that much ? In AS4000, not a power tool that won't load into the main tool.
I tried some examples in the book and they don't
work because of this issue. I think you have set
some system variables and when I uninstalled
the brand new Master Landsacape Pro it left system
parameters that control AS 4000 now.

Hi Martin, Did you read the answer at http://forums.punchsoftware.com/WebX?14@@.fac2db4/2 I am not sure if I am understanding the description of your problem. In addition there is not a 500' limit in AS 4000 To set the lot dimensions in Punch AS4000, you need to follow these steps - Set the lot dimensions with the topo designer (Design--> Lot properties) - Save the topography file (File--> Save topography as--> "yourfile.PTO") - File--> Exit Power tool--> "Update current design?"--> yes In this way (actually the only way), the new lot dimensions will appear in the main design I am fluent is several languages, so, if the languages is an issue, feel free to write your questions in Spanish or Portuguese Patricia |
