Hi GBBuilder,
This is just a work around I used, but this resource depends of your printer. I use it with my Canon i550, but I know that several printers have the same feature "print to scale"
Draw you plan with your current scale 1/4"= 1'. This means 1"= 48 drawing units. Draw a graphic scale in the same folder
The scale you wish is 3/8"= 1' This means 1"= 32 drawing units. So the ratio between both scales is 66.67%
Set this % in your printer. The printing plan will be in scale 3/8"= 1', and will fit with the graphic scale you drew.
